What prerequisites must be met before taking the CUET Exam?

Any student who has passed the class 12 or comparable exam or who is taking the 2023 exam is qualified to take the CUET (UG) - 2023 exam, regardless of age. The candidates' ages are not restricted. The following are additional Qualifying Examinations (QE):

• The 10+2 system's final exam, administered by any reputable Central or State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education in New Delhi or the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations in New Delhi, etc
• A recognized Board or University will administer an intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination.
• The National Defense Academy's Joint Services Wing's two-year course's final examination
• The Senior Secondary School Examination administered by the National Institute of Open Schooling, which must cover at least five themes.
• The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) recognizes any public school, board, or university examination in India or any other country as being similar to the 10+2 system.
• Exam for the Higher Secondary Certificate Vocational.
• A diploma of at least a three-year duration that has been approved by the AICTE or a State board of technical education.
• The Advanced (A) level General Certificate of Education (GCE) examination from London, Cambridge, or Sri Lanka.
• International Baccalaureate Diploma from the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva, or Cambridge University High School Certificate Examination.
• Candidates who completed their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam from a board not mentioned above or outside of India should submit an official document from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) stating that their exam was equivalent to the Class 12 Examination.
• The candidate must have already passed at least one public test (Board or Pre-University) if the Class 12 Examination is not a public exam.

5: What are the university's admission requirements?
Students are recommended to visit the university website where they are applying for their particular programs after submitting their CUET Exam applications because each university may have different admission requirements. Following the CBT, the participating universities and organizations will create the merit list. Universities may base their individual counseling on the NTA-provided CUET (UG) - 2023 score card.

Exam Marking Procedure for Multiple-Choice Questions:

The candidates must select the option that best fits the question's requirements in order to respond to it. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is discovered during the key verification challenge process, it must be dealt with as follows:

The best response, or the right response, is: 5 points (+5)

• Any incorrectly selected option will receive a score of one point (-1) less.
• Unanswered/Marked for Review questions will receive a zero percent grade.
• Only those who have marked one of the correct options will receive five marks (+5) if more than one option is determined to be accurate.
• Everyone who attempted the question will receive five marks (+5) if all of the options are determined to be correct.

The CUET will be administered in three shifts and online using computer-based testing (CBT).
